Staying at Thyme in the Country
Welcome to our eco-friendly cabins here in Upstate New York’s Hudson Valley. We look forward to your visit and kindly ask that you review our policies and seasonal discounts before booking.
Arrival & Departure
Check-in: 3:30 PM (ET)
Check-out: 11:00 AM (ET)
Late Check-ins: No problem! Just call ahead with your ETA.
Occupancy
Rates assume 2 guests per cottage. For little ones (up to age 6), we offer a featherbed for $25/night. The only cottage big enough for a cot is the Carriage House. There is a $25.00 charge/night for an extra child and $40.00/extra adult. Rates may change without notice.
Minimum Stay
Weekend stays require a minimum of two nights during peak season, and three nights on holidays and during festivals. Single-night weekend stays are possible during the off-season (Nov 30 – May 15) at the innkeeper’s discretion. We do charge an extra fee for cleaning when you stay one night, whether it's a weekend or a weekday.
Reservations and Cancellations
Reservations are held with a credit card. Cancellations made 14 days or more before your stay will incur a $25.00/room/night fee. Cancellations within 14 days (by 9:00 AM) will be charged for one night. Cancellations within 3 days (72 hours) or no-shows are charged for the full stay. An early departure is considered a cancellation and refunds will not be granted.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, or credit card. A card is required to hold your reservation, but you’re welcome to pay by check or cash upon checkout. Cash is our preferred method of payment.
Smoking Policy
Smoking not allowed inside cottages. Smoking is permitted outside in designated areas.
Pet Policy
Sorry, we do not accept pets.
Sales Tax
8% applies to all room rates.
